These terms apply to all visitors, registered community contributors, and civic partners who interact with the directory, maps, and photographic archives of Gujarat's 33 districts.

You may use KnowYourGujarat for lawful purposes only. You agree not to misuse the platform or take any action that could harm its functionality, security or the experience of other users.

KnowYourGujarat provides open public knowledge. Accessing our public endpoints through standard web browsers is welcomed; however, automated crawling that degrades server performance or attempts to bypass rate limiting is strictly prohibited.

You can contribute information such as photos, locations, descriptions and ideas. You are responsible for the content you submit and confirm that you have the right to share it.

Submissions must represent genuine, on-site visual evidence taken in Gujarat. Photographs of public schools, healthcare centers, transport facilities, roads, bridges, and public civic amenities help maintain an honest record for all citizens.

All content on KnowYourGujarat, including text, images, maps and design, belongs to their respective owners. User-submitted content may be used on the platform to support our mission of a more open and informed Gujarat.

By uploading a photograph to KnowYourGujarat, you grant the platform a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to format, optimize, and display the image in support of open civic data and community awareness.

We encourage you to share accurate and up-to-date information. While we strive to verify submissions, we do not guarantee that all information on the platform is always complete or error-free.

Civic infrastructure projects evolve continuously. If you spot an error, outdated milestone, or incorrect taluka assignment, you are encouraged to submit updated documentation or report corrections.

To preserve dataset integrity and community safety, you agree not to upload or transmit:

• Photographs containing identifiable faces of private individuals without explicit consent.
• Copyrighted commercial imagery downloaded from third-party media or stock libraries.
• Promotional advertisements, commercial endorsements, or political campaigning materials.
• Fraudulent, staged, or artificially fabricated imagery intended to mislead the public.
• Malicious code, virus payloads, or polyglot files designed to compromise the application.

KnowYourGujarat reserves full editorial discretion to review, verify, categorize, merge, or delete any contribution to preserve dataset integrity and community safety.

Submissions that fail verification standards or violate privacy rules will be promptly rejected. Citizens may check the verification status of their submission anonymously at /status using their cryptographic reference token.

Our platform may contain links to third-party websites, official government gazettes, educational portals, and civic resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or availability of those external websites.

KnowYourGujarat is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" civic transparency basis. While we take reasonable technical measures to ensure system uptime and information accuracy, we disclaim all warranties of any kind regarding completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.

We may update these Terms & Conditions periodically. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage contributors to review this page periodically. Continued use of the platform constitutes agreement to the updated terms.
